2 ATMs stolen in East Bay

The Oakland Police Department is investigating two ATM thefts that occurred within an hour of each other in the East Bay area of San Francisco. They were both stolen from businesses in the area, according to a report by SF Gate.

The area, which is close to the Oakland International Airport, has seen a crime wave recently, with multiple auto burglaries per day. Police believe individuals used tools to remove the ATM from the front of a business and fled the scene with it.

The amount stolen was not disclosed and the investigation is ongoing.
