Wittenbach Business Systems, a security consultant and reseller of Triton ATMs, worked with the bank's assistant vice president and IT manager, Chad Tasker, to analyze the options. "At all costs the bank wants to avoid putting up an 'out of order' sign on its ATMs," Tasker said. "If you put a sign on a machine, guess where the customer goes? Usually across the street to a competitor." Uptime was an obvious consideration and concern but so was overall reliability, ease of servicing and compatibility with the bank’s processing provider, Tasker said. After some comparison shopping, Tasker settled on the Triton FT7000 drive-up ATM. The bank signed with Wittenbach for service and support.
