CMAC Arequipa’s mission is to offer financial services to segments of the population with little or no access to the mainstream financial system. Its strategic goal is to promote and support financial decentralization and the democratization of credit. Consequently it focuses its lending activities on micro and small businesses, with a particular interest in business expansion plans. CMAC Arequipa offers credit, products and services designed for ordinary Peruvians.
Today it is one of the biggest and most efficient organizations of its type in Peru, with 250,000 active savings customers most of them with no previous experience in self-service channels.
