Pertech brings advanced check scanning and more to the ATM
At the 2012 BAI Retail Delivery show in Washington, D.C., check-scanning specialists Pertech demonstrated the CM 3000 check processing model for self-service systems.
The CM 3000 is a full-function document processing module for integration into ATMs and kiosks. It allows customers to carry out transactions — which can include check deposit, check cashing and utility bills payment — without the involvement of a teller. The customer maintains control of the document and can cancel the process and retrieve the document at any point before the transaction is finalized.
