End-to-end optimization of cash management processes was a key topic at Wincor World 2012, Oct. 16–18 in Rheda Wiedenbrück, Germany. Wincor Nixdorf was well prepared to show how optimization could be achieved, with an expanded portfolio of IT, branch automation and self-service solutions.

Eckard Heidloff, president and CEO of Wincor Nixdorf, officially opened 2012 Wincor World at noon on Tuesday with a Q&A session in which he gave a preview of show highlights.
Wincor demoed a new feature of its CINEO C2590 ATM with an interactive exhibit. The company created a simulator that allowed guests to "pull up" to the machine and see how the screen adjusted its tilt to the driver's height.
The screen is vertical for standard passenger-height automobiles, but automatically tilts up when the ATM senses a taller vehicle approaching.
ATMeye by BS2 uses four strategically placed, remotely monitored cameras to reduce the risk of crime and simplify the resolution of transaction disputes.
The spotlight at Wincor World was on the CINEO family of ATMs, which allow FIs and retailers to provide a broad range of self-service facilities.
CINEO C2070 ATM cassettes can be interchanged with those of other machines in the Cash Cycle Management portfolio for a secure, closed cash-handling system.
A second screen on the CINEO C2070 can provide a menu of added options that allow customers to multi-task at the ATM.
The ProCash line was developed with emerging markets in mind. Compact ATMs provide basic cash-in, cash-out functions and integrate easily into an expanding network.
The SmartSafe.IQ helps the branch manager to control teller labor and optimize the work process. It also provides detailed reports that include statistics, predictive analysis, data mining and forecasting.
