Marketers often use ATMs as a vehicle for ads, but in this case the ATM itself is the ad. Custom ATM founder Dennis Baker spent nine months perfecting and patenting the Bevcan prototype.
With help from beer distributor Mike Tramonte of Akron, Ohio, Baker got permission from MillerCoors to use Miller Lite graphics. "I wish I had a dollar for every person who has had their picture taken next to the ATM," said Baker. "Seriously!"
The Bevcan wrap replicates a Miller Lite can all the way down to the "drive responsibly" reminder.
Baker worked with Lasercraft Inc. of North Ridgeville, Ohio, to develop a three-piece wrap for the ATM that allows for a quick change-out of ATM advertisers.
Baker contacted several ATM distributors in his search for the machine that offered the fit and functionality he needed.

Baker found that Genmega manufactured the ATM model that was most compatible with the interior design of the Bevcan.
"I firmly believe this is a quality product supported by a solid win/win business plan," said Baker. "Our challenge now is to get in front of the right people. The product and business model should sell itself."
