FREMONT, Calif. - Tranax Technologies Inc. is launching the release of the Livewire Destination Ticketing Solution, according to a news release.

Tranax and York, Penn.-based Livewire International Inc. partnered to create the ticketing solution, which runs on the Tranax Ticketing Self-Service Terminal - a machine that has traditional ATM functionality and self-service ticketing technologies.

The Livewire Solution groups tickets by venue, product and price to places like amusement parts, ski resorts, sporting events, and cruise and bus tours.

"Our partnership with Livewire is one that we see as critical to the success of our new Ticketing SST," said Tranax president and chief executive Dr. Hansup Kwon. "Through their comprehensive content network, solid understanding of a range of ticketing markets and a robust host application, Livewire has supported the creation of what we at Tranax see as the first in a long line of products and solutions that are the next generation self-service technologies and the evolution of the off-premise ATM."

The solution will be available for commercial use/purchase April 18.
