Ria Money Transfer, a division of Euronet Worldwide Inc., has launched RiaMoneyTransfer.com, the company's first consumer-facing digital product offering. The service accommodates Ria customers who prefer to perform their financial transactions online.
The new complement to the company's established retail business offers consumers the flexibility to send money from the convenience of home, said a news release. Users of the service can tap a bank account, credit or debit card to send money to recipients in 133 countries.
Recipients can receive money in as little as 15 minutes with a direct deposit to their bank accounts or at any one of 204,000 Ria global agent locations, Ria said.
Consumers can also use the website to compare Ria services, price and track transfers, update account information and find a neighborhood Ria store or agent location.
"We are excited to provide technology-focused consumers with the same high quality, competitively priced money transfer opportunities that we provide to cash-preferred consumers," said Juan Bianchi, president and CEO of Ria Money Transfer. "Demand for online money transfer is growing and we are proud to offer a secure, user-friendly platform to our customers."
In addition to money transfer, Ria services include bill payment, check cashing, mobile phone top-ups, prepaid debit card issuance and loading, and money orders.
In 2012, Ria processed more than 23 million transfer transactions with a total face value of approximately $8 billion.
