Nov. 1, 2012
A comprehensive offering of end-to-end cash management solutions from teller safes to multi-function ATMs to the IT systems to run it all took the spotlight at Wincor World 2012, held Oct. 16–18 in Rheda-Wiederbrück, Germany.
Wincor Nixdorf presented an expanded product portfolio, with a particular focus on its CINEO family of ATMs, some of which can be upgraded from cash dispenser to cash recycler and all of which can be upgraded also with Wincor's unique cash cycle management solutions. Solutions from Wincor partner BS/2 were also on display including advanced security solutions and automated teller safes.
The CCMS approach allows the same cassettes to be exchanged between different cash points, such as dispensers, recyclers and automated teller safes, forming the basis for optimized cash handling in a closed system.
Exhibits featured a wide range of hardware and software solutions designed to increase efficiency and security while reducing cash-handling and operating costs:
- Customer-operated automated teller safes that partly automate transactions such as deposits, withdrawals and banknote changing;
- Coin-handling modules that can be integrated into multi-function systems such as the CINEO C4080 cash recycler;
- The ProCash line, economical cash dispensers manufactured in Asia to enable faster delivery to and deployment in emerging markets they were designed to serve;
- Continuous monitoring solutions that allow the deployer to detect and resolve availability and security issues within the network.
