Payment solutions provider Clear2Pay has announced the validation of its latest NFC Forum conformance test suite by NFC Forum, a non-profit industry association. The test solution helps chip and device manufacturers verify the digital conformation of their NFC devices to current NFC Forum device requirements.
The NFC Forum certification program helps to ensure that products conform to NFC Forum standards in order to maintain consistency of behavior across NFC-enabled devices, a key element for global commercial uptake.
The Clear2Pay solution will be used in authorized test laboratories for certification testing of NFC products worldwide. It will also be available to serve the debugging and pre-certification needs of device vendors.
The mobile and payments industry anticipates widespread integration of NFC technology in mobile devices: analysts expect that number of NFC-enabled devices will grow from nearly 300 million in 2013 to nearly 2 billion by 2017.
