Chinese ATM manufacturer GRGBanking has made its first foray into the German market. Since January, German casino product and service company Cash Management Innovation has been using the GRG CRM9250 cash recycler in its MCT 2000 line in German casino installations.
"This first installation in Germany is a really important step and a big success for GRGBanking because it simply shows that our equipment meets the local requirements and works well in a high-technology country like Germany," said Hendrik Eckholt, GRG Banking country manager for Germany of GRGBanking. "GRGBanking is happy that we could win CMI as a partner for this long-term oriented project."
Changes in regulations have caused German casino operators to reorganize their cash management procedures. CMI managing director Birgit Böttcher said the GRG cash management solution appealed to operators due to both its design and its modern technology.
The GRG CRM9250 intelligent cash recycler module is designed to offer maximum reliability and speed and require a minimum of maintenance, the company said. The machine supports 64 denominations simultaneously and offers up to four recycling cassettes plus one multifunctional acceptance cassette. The recycler uses OCR technology to recognize and record banknote serial numbers, making transactions more secure and less prone to dispute.
