Paducah, Ky.-based Computer Services Inc., a provider of end-to-end technology solutions for financial institutions, announced that it has been named among the top four percent of the world's largest managed service providers on this year's Top 501 Global Managed Service Providers List. The rankings were compiled by the online MSP trade publication and blog site, MSPmentor. This marks the sixth consecutive year that CSI has been included in the annual listing.
The list is the product of MSPmentor's sixth-annual survey, which ran from October through December 2012.
Though CSI is the 17th largest MSP worldwide and the 14th largest in North America, MSP size is only one factor in the MSPmentor index. Other factors include:
- Overall managed services revenue and growth;
- Percentage managed services revenue growth;
- Managed services revenue per employee;
- Number of devices managed; and
- Other data points comparing fiscal 2012 to fiscal 2011.
According to the MSPmentor global report, the 2011 acquisition of HEIT by CSI helped significantly expand the company's presence in the MSP space and further secure its status as one of the largest firms specifically servicing the financial services industry.

CSI now has more than 46,000 PCs under management, plus more than 12,500 servers and network devices. The company provides cloud-delivered infrastructure, security and IT systems to help financial institutions remain competitive, compliant and profitable.
