Diebold Inc. announced it will be delivering Opteva ATMs and Agilis 3 software to Turkey's Bank Asya. The full order includes 161 advanced-function ATMs, including 146 Opteva 760 and Opteva 720 ATMs and 15 Opteva 868 cash recycling terminals, Diebold said.

Diebold's cash recycling deposit-automation modules are intended to provide flexible migration options and make self-service deposits more "teller-like," Diebold said. The result is a higher-quality transaction and consumer experience. The units also optimize cash management by shortening the cash cycle and reducing the costs and risks of handling, storing and transporting cash, the company said.

Wetzel said that migrating transactions from the teller line to the self-service channel also makes money management more convenient for the user while also allowing Bank Asya's tellers to focus their time on providing value-added services to consumers.
