Cash management provider Loomis has signed a deal turning over ATM technical service operations to NCR in the U.K. Through the agreement Loomis will purchase the services from NCR to continue offering its bank customers service for their ATMs.

In total the deal will affect 150 technicians, who will now be employed by NCR.

This transaction is the beginning of a process of efficiency improvements for the U.K. operation. Kenneth Högman, regional president northern Europe and country president for Loomis UK Ltd, will lead the effort, Loomis said.

"This agreement gives us a partner with a strong technical service organization operating throughout the country. Together we can offer our customers a unique service concept for ATMs," said Högman.
