Jack Henry & Associates Inc., a provider of tech solutions and payment processing services to the financial services industry, has expanded its mobile banking solution, goDough, with a new Remote Deposit Anywhere solution. RDA is available for iPhone and Android mobile devices.
GoDough is a WAP, SMS, or app-based mobile banking solution that supports traditional in-branch and online transactions such as balance inquiries, funds transfers between accounts, and transaction viewing. The product accommodates all account types, including checking, CD, money market, loan, and line-of-credit.
The solution is available through Jack Henry's ProfitStars division, which provides specialized products and services designed to help FIs mitigate and control risks, optimize revenue and growth opportunities, and contain costs.
Banks using the ProfitStars solution can now offer their personal- and business-banking customers the ability to make remote deposits using compatible smartphones, tablet devices, and flatbed scanners. Checks are photographed with these devices, converted into electronic transactions, and processed through the ACH or Check 21 image exchange networks.

"Expanding our mobile strategy with this new self-service channel also helps us retain and attract loyal customers, and provides another competitive distinction in the markets we serve."
To implement RDA, an FI must have the goDough iPhone app version 2.7.5 or newer and the goDough Android 2.0 version or newer.
