ATMSafe Global, a provider of insurance products in the money transfer and remittance segment, has reached an agreement with Cardplatforms LLC in which ATMSafe coverage will be integrated into the Cardplatforms CrewCash Card Maritime payroll card program.
The deal negotiated through ATMSafe distributor Cross Marketing USA, ensures that if a CrewCash cardholder suffers a financial loss while using an ATM or a similar device, ATMSafe will replace the lost or stolen cash.
According to Cross Marketing USA president James Fridl, ATMSafe and CashGuardPlus cover owners of any payroll card, credit card, or mobile device using any technology, payment application, or service. The enhancement program replaces cash stolen from a mobile smartphone or prepaid card, or lost due to an ATM robbery.
"We are pleased that ATMSafe will be part of our CrewCash Card payroll program," said Jeff Foster, CEO of Cardplatforms. "ATMSafe will provide peace of mind to our CrewCash cardholders when using their cards for ATM cash withdrawals and similar transactions around the globe."
