Smart card technology solutions provider Oberthur Technologies has been tapped to provide EMV card personalization and fulfillment services for São Paulo, Brazil-based Banco Bradesco, one of the largest private banks in Latin America.
Oberthur will provide the service through its São Paulo manufacturing facility and service center, using its proprietary Common Personalization System, which the company has deployed across a global network of more than 35 service centers.
"Oberthur Technologies is proud to be selected as a partner by Bradesco" said Martin Ferenczi, managing director of the Americas region at Oberthur Technologies. He added that the company's experience, facilities, and CPS technology positions it to meet customer needs.
"Bradesco wanted a partner with EMV experience and flexible personalization and fulfillment capabilities," said Osvaldo Rodrigues Filho, production manager for Banco Bradesco Cartões. "Oberthur Technologies offered not only a fully scalable solution, but also demonstrated the knowledge and commitment we wanted."
