Aconite, a provider of chip and mobile software solutions, has announced that financial services technology solutions provider Fiserv Inc. will use Aconite's Smart EMV Manager to outfit its EMV card processing systems with advanced capability.
Smart EMV Manager is one component of Aconite's integrated solution family, which comprises chip card and token life-cycle management, NFC mobile management and advanced PIN management.
According to an announcement from Aconite, Fiserv needed a single solution that could be deployed and operated across a diverse range of card processing platforms, ensuring a consistent EMV migration experience for thousands of card issuing clients in the U.S.
Fiserv chose Aconite Smart EMV Manager because it was proven, highly configurable and simple to install — reducing risk and complexity, while incorporating a package of advanced EMV features — the company said.
"With EMV migration now under way in the U.S., Aconite's unrivalled track record of supporting EMV card issuers and processors around the world stands us in good stead to bring our expertise and advanced solution set into the U.S. market," said Patrick Regester, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Aconite. Bruce Hopkins, general manager of card services at Fiserv, called Aconite's Smart EMV Manager "an extremely deep and robust solution."
