Geldservice Nederland B.V., the provider of cash handling and logistics and cash-device maintenance for major Netherlands banks, has selected the Fiserv cash and logistics technology platform for optimization of currency supply chain management for its clients.
GSN will implement Integrated Currency Manager, Device Manager, Performance View and MatchPoint applications from Fiserv. The suite includes robust capabilities for cash management, incident and event management for self-service devices such as ATMs and in-branch deposit and cash-recycling machines, vendor management and business analytics, Fiserv said in an announcement of the deal.

"The Fiserv technology platform can provide our customers with many benefits including reduced operational costs, reduced cost of cash, guaranteed service levels for supply of cash to consumers and improved business strategy and decision-making using industry leading business analytics."
The suite will have additional benefits to GSN, as well, said David McLaren, Fiserv business development director for EMEA cash and logistics.
