NASA Federal Credit Union has announced the introduction of ATM-dispensed Visa gift cards at select branches in Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. The new service, unveiled just in time for the holiday shopping season, allows credit union members to purchase gift cards right at the ATM with ease and security, the FCU said in its announcement.
The cards are the product of Better ATM Services, which owns the card format. The gift cards are dispensed directly from the cash tray and are accompanied by coupons that provide consumers with an added incentive for card purchase. The cards can be used wherever Visa gift cards are accepted.
"Our focus has always been on providing value-driven, secure products and services that reflect the needs of the members we serve. Because we understand the demands of hectic schedules," said NASA Federal Credit Union CEO, Doug Allman. "Offering ATM-dispensed Visa gift cards delivers leading-edge technology that provides one-stop convenience for our members' banking and gift giving needs."
