In a further sign that mobile remote deposit is gaining ground with consumers, credit union service organization EasCorp of Burlington, Mass., has reported that the user base for its service doubled in the past year to a total of nearly half a million.

The EasCorp CUSO offers RDC service from Vertifi Software LLC, said a story by CU Times. Vertifi told the publication that 108 credit unions in 30 states now use one or more of its DeposZip programs.
