NCR has completed a 114-ATM deployment for First Tech Federal Credit Union, a $5.6 billion, 356,000-member financial institution based in in Palo Alto, Calif.
According to a report by Credit Union Times, The NCR machines include dip card readers and intelligent deposit with mixed media capability. Bank customers can deposit multiple checks and cash together through one slot and receive a printed receipt with an image of each of the deposit items.
The customer friendly machines allow users to set preferences for transactions, and in some cases, provide a hook where the customer can hang a coat or purse.
"To us, this wasn't just a machine upgrade, but an experience upgrade," said Doug Marshall, chief membership officer at First Tech. "Instead of flashy, non-functional features, we've created an ATM that is efficient, secure and allows our members to make quick monetary transactions and get on with their daily lives."
