In the wake of Hurricane Sandy, wholesaler ATMequipment.com has donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross to support relief efforts. The company also has said it will match customer donations to the American Red Cross up to an additional $10,000.
"As we received calls from our customers in the New York and New Jersey markets, the extent of the devastation became clear," said Jeff Matthews, COO of Grant Victor, the parent company of ATMequipment.com. "Many customers are missing machines, power lines are down and independent ATM operators are losing business daily. At ATMequipment.com we wanted to help these business owners recover as quickly as possible."
In addition to the donations, ATMequipment.com is offering discounts and free delivery on new machines to ATM operators in hurricane-affected areas. "We will do whatever we can to help our customers rebuild their businesses and get back on their feet," said Jim Ethridge, president of ATMequipment.com.
