At the recent International Commercial Cash Operations Seminar in Manila, Philippines, GRGBanking showcased its P2801L Intelligent Cash Collection solution for an audience that included commercial and central banks, CITs and armored carriers, retailers and casino operators.
The event was intended to bring all segments of cash cycle operations together to focus on issues facing the sector and to learn about new technologies that promise to increase efficiency and security. GRG participated in concert with Armored Transport Plus Inc., an affiliate of the ATM manufacturer's local partner in the Philippines, ECTK Integrated Security Group.
Gary Soon, regional sales director for Asia Pacific at GRGBanking, said delegates were keen to learn about case studies with the Intelligent Cash Collection solution and find out how the cassette-swapping system performed in real-world scenarios.
"[Cassette swapping] sets an important milestone for the cash industry as [to] how retailers can manage the cash logistics chain in a more effective and efficient way, especially when they are under pressure to keep their increasing operational cost down," Soon said.
