TransCentra, a provider of billing and payment software and services, has announced that its remote deposit capture product is now available via software-as-a-service delivery, seamlessly integrating with the company's Mobile Deposit and eCapture scanning solutions.

With SaaS RDC, TransCentra eliminates lengthy implementation and software maintenance processes for FIs, decreasing up-front and overall costs. RDC customers can scan and capture document images faster with confidence that the process for handling payments is secure.
TransCentra SaaS RDC integrates with the company's eCapture offering, which uses small scanning devices to capture data and relay it to a central processing facility. Co-mingled scanning functionality allows for multiple document types (e.g., checks, customer forms, check skirts and remittance documents) to be scanned together in one batch.
SaaS RDC also allows customers to utilize TransCentra's complete "capture-to-clearing" Mobile Deposit solution, simultaneously capturing and depositing checks via a mobile device.
