Allpoint Network, a Cardtronics Inc. affiliate and operator of a surcharge-free network comprising more than 50,000 ATMs, today announced that it has expanded its service to Canada. Allpoint also has a presence in the United States, Australia, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom.
Earlier this year, 7-Eleven named Cardtronics its exclusive ATM service provider for 470 locations in Canada. These Cardtronics-owned, 7-Eleven-located ATMs now facilitate Allpoint Network transactions, which are fee-free to cardholders of Allpoint Network member banks.
"Consumers have spoken: When it comes to surcharge-free ATMs, the more locations, the better," said Ben Psillas, president of Allpoint Network. "With this expansion into Canada, Allpoint clearly demonstrates its commitment to continually expanding the size and reach of our surcharge-free ATM network, and in so doing help participating Allpoint-member financial institutions meet that consumer demand."
Cardholders can find Allpoint ATMs — including the new locations in Canada — using the free Allpoint Network ATM locator app on their smartphones.
