WAUSAU Financial systems announced that Dollar Bank has implemented WAUSAU's mobile remote deposit capture solution and that the results have been phenomenal. In the first month, Dollar Bank has processed nearly 2,500 deposits totaling $500,000 using the RDC solution, the bank said.
"We've experienced great success in leveraging the solution to expand our geographic footprint with small and midsized business customers," said Dollar Bank SVP Judy Murtha.
While customers grasped the RDC concept quickly, the bank never imagined how successful the technology would enhance its brand image and lead to this level of new business, Murtha said.
"This momentum surely will continue as we add mobile RDC to our suite of corporate services," Murtha said.
Dollar Bank said it will be offering a treasury service with mobile RDC soon. Based on Dollar Bank's success with the consumer mobile RDC solution, added to the growth of its treasury operations leveraging a merchant RDC solution, the FI said it's sure a corporate rollout will be a success as well.
