Encore Networks, a provider of machine-to-machine solutions for fixed and wireless communications, today announced that WorldPay US Inc. has certified Encore's line of C2C routers for wireless ATM transactions over the WorldPay processing platform.
Available in both industrially hardened and commercial-grade models, the C2C is a low-cost, embedded cellular replacement for Plain Old Telephone Services (POTs) lines that enables the migration of legacy ATMs to advanced IP over cellular.
By converting to IP-based cellular services, ATMs gain the benefits of a 3G network's increased throughput, reduced costs, reliability and speed. The C2C supports either AC or DC power and can provide loss of site power notification when equipped with the Power Failure Alert feature.
