Cardtronics Inc. today announced that its U.K. subsidiary, Bank Machine, has added 600 Shell-owned stations in the U.K. to the company's roster of retail locations.
As part of the agreement, Bank Machine will install, own and maintain ATMs at Shell's company-owned sites. Sites supported by Bank Machine will receive ATMs that feature Shell colors, plus on-screen marketing and receipt couponing functionality. Upon completion of the installation project, Bank Machine will have consolidated multiple ATM services relationships for Shell U.K.
All of the Shell U.K. ATMs operated by Bank Machine will be folded into Allpoint Network immediately upon installation. Allpoint Network is a Cardtronics affiliate and operator of the world's largest surcharge-free ATM network.
