Open Solutions Inc., a provider of technology to community-based financial institutions, announced today certification of the Burroughs SmartCash currency recycler with Open Solutions’ device management software, a platform that provides a standardized methodology for accessing and managing Burroughs’ cash automation solutions.
The SmartCash family of cash recyclers and dispensers offer the industry’s smallest footprint and highest capacities said a press release from the companies.
“The integration of the SmartCash recycler from Burroughs proves once again that the multivendor capabilities of Open Solutions’ DNA, TotalPlus and CUnify platforms provide[s] financial institutions around the world a vast variety of peripherals with no need to change their applications,” said Eric Anderson, vice president of business development at Open Solutions. “This provides independence and significant reductions in development and support costs.”
