Discover Financial Services debit/ATM network, PULSE, has launched a new online Debit Regulations Resource Center, the company announced in a press release. The site provides information on debit-related legislation, regulations and compliance matters.
PULSE previously operated the Durbin Amendment Resource Center, which offered news and insights regarding debit card legislation. Now that the Fed has finalized implementation rules for the amendment, PULSE has repurposed the resource center to help PULSE participants respond to the changing debit market.
"We heard from many of our participants that they valued the convenience and comprehensiveness of this resource for debit-related legislative and regulatory news and information," said Steve Sievert, PULSE senior vice president of communications and marketing, "and we believe that expanding the focus of the site will drive even greater value to our network participants."
