An exhibition of 'power': ATMIA previews conference exhibitors

Attendees at the ATMIA US 2012 conference can expect to walk a few miles in those shoes when the exhibition hall opens on day two. More than 70 exhibiting and sponsoring companies will be on hand to describe, deconstruct and demo their latest product lineups, including some new product unveilings.

"Our conference is called the Power of ATMs and nowhere will the power of ATM technologies and services be more visible at this year's event than in the packed exhibit hall," said ATMIA CEO Mike Lee. "It's always a great gathering place for networking and discovering innovations that can make a great contribution to the industry." 

The exhibit hall will have something for everyone in the industry said Dana Benson, ATMIA director of conferences and sponsorships. "The attendees will be able to see and feel the latest in ATM products and services," she said. "We have all of the major manufacturers represented as well as security companies, networks and other service providers." Benson was also pleased with the addition of a number of new exhibitors to the perennial mix.

Here are many of the companies scheduled to exhibit and some information about them.

ACCEL/Exchange is a debit payments network whose mission is to help financial institutions deliver fast, safe, and dependable payments and funds access. ACCEL/Exchange is owned by Fiserv, a provider of financial services technology solutions, including payments, processing services, risk and compliance review, customer and channel management, and business intelligence and optimization.

ACG has provided ATM parts and refurbishment, bench tech repair, branch equipment and field service to customers since 1986. The company will launch products at ATMIA US that include an LED Light Panel Solution for 5886 ATMs and an Enhanced Card Security anti-skimming device. Visitors to the ACG booth can enter to win a $100 cash prize.

American State Bank holds more than $3 billion in assets, sponsors more than 66 thousand ATMs, moves 35 million transactions a month, and is the only bank actively sponsoring new ISOs for multiple processors. ASB offers both ATM and POS PIN-based sponsorship, plus the freedom to choose a processor.

ATMPartMart.com has provided the industry with ATM parts, equipment and part repair for more than 13 years. Exclusively at ATMIA US, ATM PartMart.com will provide a live demonstration of its ADA speech upgrade solution, ATMTalk.

Bader Company is a 35-year-old marketing and administration company that specializes in “point-of-lease/point-of-sale” insurance. Conference attendees can learn more about ATM and kiosk coverage launched last year by Bader and underwritten by Pennsylvania Manufacturers’ Association Insurance Co.

Bancsource is the largest independent maintenance provider and ATM reseller in the U.S., servicing more than 2,200 financial institutions and other companies. The company develops customized equipment maintenance programs for clients and services brands that include Hyosung, NCR, Wincor, Triton, Tranax and Glory.

Bell ATM Service Inc. provides new and refurbished ATMs, ATM parts, repair and more. The company stocks new and refurbished parts for Hyosung, Hantle, Genmega, Triton, Tranax and Tidel machines. Bell also can refurbish an owner's existing equipment and return it to service — often at a fraction of the cost of replacement.

Cash Connect provides more than $8 billion annually in ATM vault cash to more than 11,000 ATMs throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. A division of WSFS Bank, the company helps ATM deployers manage their program efficiently with complementary services such as cash forecasting and armored carrier management. Cash Connect was honored in 2010 with the industry's Award for Excellence.

CASINOMONEY, a division of MOBILEMONEY, is a full-service provider of cash access services for the gaming industry and is the country's largest provider of mobile and temporary ATM services. The company serves the end customer with ATM cash withdrawals, POS debit and credit card cash advances, and check cashing services. The company serves customers right on the gaming floor with its Three-of-a-Kind ATM and TABLEMONEY Portable Device.

Citywide ATM is a national supplier of goods and services for the ATM industry. The company's products include ATM security alarms and wireless communication links and traditional products such as thermal printer paper. Citywide also offers prepped, programmed and ready-to-ship ATMs from a variety of manufacturers.

Credit Union 24 counts more than 300,000 ATM locations nationally and internationally and offers the most extensive surcharge-free ATM access in the country.

Diebold is a global technology and services company providing customized, integrated security and self-service solutions. Diebold hardware, software and services are designed to help financial institutions improve efficiencies, protect assets and serve consumers in an efficient and user-friendly manner.

The DPL Group, a technology company, will be featuring its wireless devices for ATM communication as well as remote tracking equipment for fleet management. The tracker features easy installation and is backed by round-the-clock technical support. Visitors to the company's booth can register to win a DPL watch.

Elan Financial Services offers transaction-processing products and services backed by U.S. Bank. Capabilities range from transaction processing and real-time transaction monitoring to vault cash provisioning and management.  Elan also owns and operates the MoneyPass surcharge free ATM network, which serves more than 40 million active cardholders.

Encore Networks manufactures secure IP+Legacy VPN routers for converged and broadband solutions. Encore’s "environmentally hardened" routers use embedded cellular modems and VPN solutions that support both legacy devices and IP routing standards. The company's security solutions include encrypted and secure transport over cellular services and secure transactions to multiple clearing houses and data processing centers.

FCTI helps customers optimize transaction revenue while eliminating the expense of hardware. The company offers a full-service approach designed to reduce the cost and hassle that comes with ATM compliance, cash management, maintenance, and more.

First Data strives to make it fast, easy and secure for people and businesses to buy goods and services using virtually any form of electronic payment. First Data securely processes gift card, credit, debit card and check transactions for millions of merchant locations and thousands of card issuers in 37 countries.

Genmega will provide ATMIA US delegates a close look at self-service technology and alternate ways to create revenue on an ATM. The company will demo Nexxo’s full-service solution including check cashing and money order printing on the G6000, and will run TIO’s bill payment solution on the GK1000 kiosk. Valid Systems will demo their payday loan payout application while Linq3 will show how to buy a lottery ticket on an ATM.

GetBranded.com is a fully-integrated creative media company. The firm utilizes exclusive methodologies to identify it's clients' brand strengths and to develop tailored branding solutions. Services are fully scalable to client needs, and include ATM branding and graphic design, to website design and marketing campaigns.

Hantle is a manufacturer of competitively priced equipment for the ATM industry. The company pursues a mission to provide an ear for the customer's ATM engineering and design needs. Hantle also works to represent the customer's voice through active service on the ATMIA board.

Heritage Industries provides kiosks, canopies, surrounds, panels, backdrops and toppers for ATM installations throughout the world, offering services that range from design to fabrication to installation. In addition to a diverse standard product line, the company can also create custom products for specific needs.

Lockmasters was founded in 1955 and through the decades since has grown into a distributor of a wide variety of security products. The company stocks products from more than 10 lock manufacturers and offers technical know-how to assist the customer both before and after a purchase.

Lowers & Associates is an independent provider of risk mitigation and loss prevention services. NYCE Payments Network LLC offers the benefit of a 25-year track record of service and products that are designed to provide convenience and security in payment processing. The company also offers educational events and publications that illuminate the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly changing industry.

Payment Alliance International invites delegates to try its cardless ATMs and learn about its mobile discount and rewards programs, email and text message marketing, ATM-dispensed quick pick lottery tickets, and a new wall-mount ATM. PAI will also show its proprietary PAI-Trex terminal that handles up to 15 POS applications. Attendees can experience applications live in the PAI demo restaurant and convenience store.

Phoenix has served the industry for 25 years as an independent provider of self-service software. The company's Phoenix VISTAatm platform has been chosen by industry groups that include financial institutions, ISO’s, switch providers and retailers. Phoenix's new Commander product integrates channels, enables targeted two-way customer communication, and facilitates multi-vendor network management.

ProfitStars provides ATM Manager Pro, a software application for management of the ATM business channel. Written specifically for the ISO industry, ATM Manager Pro provides asset, location and transaction tracking, financial analysis, cash management and event management within a single database that can be accessible across the enterprise.

PULSE, a debit/ATM network, serves more than 4400 financial institutions across the U.S.  The company links cardholders with ATMs and POS terminals nationwide, and provides cash access for Diners Club and Discover cardholders worldwide through hundreds of thousands of ATM locations.  

Raminator was developed in 2006 as a response to a rapid increase in smash-and-grab bank ATM attacks in Australia. Today it is the standard fitting for five of the six largest banks in Australia. No ATM fitted with a Raminator has ever been stolen. Raminator has won numerous international awards for innovation and design, including the ATMIA Outstanding Innovation Award in 2007.

Sargent and Greenleaf, part of Stanley Security Solutions, has provided locking systems for the banking and cash logistics industries since 1847. The company's S&G A-Series locks are used worldwide to control ATM lock access through expiring one-time-codes and no vendor meets. The S&G TRAK*R provides a low-cost combined GPS unit as well as wireless anti-theft alarm monitoring for remote ATMs.

SecuRam has manufactured electronic security products for commercial and banking markets for more than 20 years. Its electronic controller for ATMs features real-time remote control, a multi-function alarm, wireless record transferring and networking, a text message platform, and strict unlocking verification requirements. SecuRam also  specializes in Biometric Security and has a number of products that incorporate that technology.

The Security Center was founded in 1963 and nearly 50 years later remains a family-owned, veteran-owned business. The company sells, installs and services physical and electronic security bank products regionally. It is also the manufacturer and supplier for the IRIS Digital Video Systems product line and the U.S. distributor for the Raminator product line.

Solvport is an ESO-registered nationwide ATM service provider with 16 years of experience in servicing ATM networks. The company offers a 50-state service infrastructure that provides nationwide field service, installation, round-the-clock help desk service, monitoring, project management, and parts and supplies.

SureXchange is a specialty ATM processing network that provides Dynamic Currency Conversion. ATM owners identify machines in their fleet that draw sizable volumes of international cardholder traffic and move these machines to SureXchange, where they typically receive one to two percent of cash withdrawal amounts. SureXchange is powered by the SHAZAM network using the Euronet DCC engine.

TPI is a sheet metal fabrication facility that has manufactured security products for a number of industries for more than 20 years. The company specializes in ATM covers, canopies and security vaults. All products are fabricated from heavy duty metal and custom powder coated to meet customer requirements.

Triton and ATM Gurus offer ATMs, smart safes, multi-brand parts and repairs. Triton communicates with the ATM host via Triton Dynamic Language, a protocol widely accepted as the de facto industry standard. ATMGurus provides parts, repair and training for all popular ATM brands with an inventory or more than $10 million in parts and accessories. At ATMIA US, Triton will feature its provisional/same-day credit capable, VersaSafe, a vault deposit system for cash-intensive businesses.

Vantiv offers debit and credit card services, prepaid programs, ATM driving, fraud mitigation and advisory services. The company works with customers to develop revenue-driven programs that are also end-user friendly.

WorldPay is the largest off-premise ATM processor in the U.S. The company offers direct connections to ATM networks nationwide, helping to control costs by eliminating the middleman. World Pay is a single-source provider with direct connections to all major card networks.
