ATM industry veteran Mark D. Smith has joined Kahuna ATM Solutions as vice president of financial solutions, according to a company press release.
The financial solutions department is a new division of Kahuna, providing products and services for value-added resellers and financial institutions. Smith manages the VAR channel and provides direct sales support to financial institutions. He is also responsible for the development of a more robust Kahuna financial product line including security and bank branch products and services.
"I am excited to be a part of the Kahuna family and to focus again on the needs of financial institutions and VARs," Smith said. "I have worked with Frank Lunn, Bryan Bauer and the Kahuna team for many years and am proud to be affiliated with a trusted industry leader, as committed to customer service as I am."
During his 15-year sales and business development career at Triton Systems LLC, Smith provided ATM solutions for independent ATM deployers, VARs and financial institutions. He currently serves on the ATM Industry Association Cash Council and Security Committee, and recently completed a two-year term on the board of directors of the Financial and Security Products Association.
