Parabit Systems, Inc. announced it has completed the installation of 15 self-service welcome centers within the arrival areas of all terminals at JFK, LaGuardia and Newark Airports. Additionally, 10 digital signage platform kiosks were installed at all AirTrain Stations at JFK International Airport, the company said.
According to the announcement, the welcome centers include integration of 60 hotel/car rental/ground transportation kiosks and 150 digital signage displays. Thirty self-service kiosks allow access to The Port Authority website which provides information on flight tracking, hotels, baggage claim, ground transportation, hotels, car rental companies and many other services. The welcome centers also include 10 ATMs.
The welcome centers feature Ground Transportation Information Counters that permit the Port Authority's customer care representatives to help customers use the technology and book ground transportation services for arriving passengers.
The centers were designed, manufactured and installed by Parabit and the company said it will continue to maintain all technology remotely as well as on-site.
