Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union, the largest credit union in Florida and the 13th largest in the U.S., has replaced 94 of its terminals with Diebold's deposit automation Opteva ATMs. Diebold also replaced 104 of Suncoast Schools' cash dispensers and is providing integrated services, including advanced skimming detection monitoring.
"Suncoast has been aggressive in adopting new technologies that benefit our members," said Wanda Chambers, vice president, document services, Suncoast Schools. "Even during its infancy, deposit automation improved ATM experiences for our members, eliminated empty-envelope fraud and provided processing efficiencies. Now that we've deployed new terminals with rapid processing technology, we're excited to experience additional benefits."
Diebold's current deposit automation technology accepts deposits of up to 30 bank notes and 10 checks in fewer than 60 seconds, according to a company press release.
Suncoast Schools serves more than 510,000 members.
