ATM and ATM parts supplier TestLink today introduced three new NCR ATM cassette services.
According to a company press release, the new services include ATM cassette testers, refurbished ATM cassettes and ATM cassette repair.
The company said it designed the cassette tester to prevent ATMs from paying out too much or too little money due to incorrect configuration. The ATM cassette tester also checks the shutter mechanism, a common point for cash cassette failures and low cash sensors.
"The money spent on purchasing the ATM cassette tester is a wise investment. With the average cash cassette failure or low cash sensor proving extremely costly, the ATM cassette tester could save banks and cash in transit companies large amounts of cash annually," said TestLink Managing Director Greg Hughes.
