Cardtronics Inc. today announced the selection of EDC ATM alum Jeffery Keith as the new executive vice president of Cardtronics' Global Operations Group. In a related development, outgoing Cardtronics executive vice president of Global Operations, Jim Bettinger, has announced his planned retirement.
Staying on at Cardtronics through the end of 2011, Bettinger will work with Keith to orchestrate a smooth leadership transition for the Operations Group, according to a company press release.
"It's with complete confidence Cardtronics passes the 'operations leadership baton' to Jeffery Keith, who brings more than 20 years of ATM industry experience that will serve us well as Cardtronics continues to grow," said Mike Clinard, president, Global Services, Cardtronics.
As the company's EVP of Global Operations, Keith will be responsible for ensuring Cardtronics' U.S.-located ATMs dispense cash 24-hours per day, as well as operational oversight for international markets. Additionally, he will oversee general management of ATM performance monitoring; cash management; technical support; field service; customer call center; inventory; purchasing; and global vendor relations.
