IBM Mexico and GRG Banking, a provider of cash processing and currency recognition solutions in the Chinese market, today announced a partnership in Mexico to provide an integrated hardware, software and services infrastructure for the financial services industry, according to a press release.
The partnership was initiated in Mexico, where GRG has its own local subsidiary, and will also be expanded to other Latin American countries, such as Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Chile and Argentina, within the next three years.
Both companies are working together to introduce GRG’s technology particularly for cash recycling ATMs, drop-boxes and retail kiosks, based on IBM’s services portfolio, including ATM installation, maintenance and configuration.
