NCR Corporation today announced that Sean Fernandez has joined the company as senior vice president and general manager, NCR Consumables. Fernandez will report directly to Bill Nuti, NCR chairman and CEO.
Fernandez will be responsible for leadership of NCR's line of business that provides printing and labeling solutions for the retail, hospitality, financial and other industries, as well as NCR Direct, its online source for small businesses.
"Sean's industry expertise, focus on operational excellence and ability to drive growth make him the right leader to drive this business forward," Nuti said. "The Consumables line of business complements NCR's strategy and provides our customers with innovations such as 2ST and Receipt on Label solutions."
Fernandez most recently served as vice president of new growth platforms at Avery Dennison Corporation. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Harvard University and a bachelor's degree in accounting and computer science from Boston College.
