Itautec, a global electronic equipment manufacturer from Sao Paulo, Brazil, today was honored with three awards by World Finance, a financial magazine produced by World News Media in London.
The company received the Automated Banking Branch Technology of the Year, Retail Banking Systems Technology Provider of the Year and Security Technology Provider of the Year awards for Latin America.
Beginning later this year, Itautec will sell its line of Adattis ATMs and Prizis kiosks to U.S. financial institutions.
"These awards build on Itautec's reputation of delivering the best electronic equipment for financial institutions,” said Marcio Weltman Dvorkin, general manager for Itautec America Inc., who is currently vetting U.S. value-added resellers to become part of Itautec’s national sales force. "We’ve made a substantial investment during the past couple of years in banking automation R&D, which has been validated by these World Finance awards.”
The Automated Banking Branch Technology of the Year award recognizes the Adattis line of ATMs, SIGA (Queue Management System) and bank teller operator keyboards.
The Retail Banking Systems Technology Provider of the Year award highlights Itautec’s expertise in developing equipment that improves operational efficiencies in handling large volumes of transactions.
The World Finance Security Technology Provider of the Year award was presented to Itautec for the integration of innovative fraud and theft prevention technologies like AutoManager, an Itautec software solution that monitors self-service equipment, servers and networking devices in a branch.
"Being acknowledged by a globally renowned publication will be a huge asset as we begin work in the U.S. market," said Dvorkin.
Maybe I have the wrong model, but I saw a few of those machines around Las Vegas 3-4 years ago. Planet Hollywood, Green Valley Ranch, etc.
For the first time ever, the Adattis model is set to deploy in the US later this year. We have successfully deployed and maintained these units in other countries. The Adattis line is a proven reliable machine as major banks continue to use and deploy thousands more Itautec machines.
The machines you saw undergoing test pilots at casinos are a completely different product with their own specifications and conditions.
