BS/2 widens product offering

BS/2 Company announced recently that it is offering financial institutions 24-hour monitoring of self-service terminal networks.

Used in conjunction with the ProView software solution, it becomes possible to remotely monitor ATMs and other facilities from one observation center, thereby checking their status and nature of any technical problems that they might be having and increasing the accessibility of the self-service facility networks, company officials said.

Tomas Augucevicius, deputy sales director for BS/2, said the ProView software solution was created by Wincor Nixdorf AG, which is based in Paderborn, Germany.

"We have adopted it to provide technical supervision services," Augucevicius said. "This monitoring service makes it possible to reduce the operating costs of companies and to increasing the productivity of the self-service device network without major component outlays."

Based in Vilnius, Lithuania, BS/2 is part of Penkiu Kontinentu Bankines Technolgijos, UAB.
