Access to Money today announced that it has purchased Triton Systems of Delaware LLC's Prism Operating Software for an undisclosed price.
The software is used to drive transactions on ATMs utilizing the Windows XP platform.
Access to Money, a Cherry Hill, N.J.-based independent ATM deployer, purchased Prism to install more functionally enhanced ATMs at a cheaper and more competitive price, said Richard Stern, the company's president and CEO.
"Moreover, we can now work directly with equipment manufacturers to design ATMs in response to specific market demands," Stern said.
Triton, one of the world's largest ATM manufacturers, is based in Long Beach, Miss.
