Fifth Third Processing Solutions today announced that it has signed an agreement to provide ATM and debit card processing for First Cheyenne Federal Credit Union, Wyoming's oldest credit union.
In addition, Cincinnati-based Fifth Third will provide fraud monitoring, debit card portfolio marketing services and ATM terminal driving for First Cheyenne, which is based in the city of Cheyenne. The credit union operates three ATMs, and it has more than $30 million in assets.
The credit union's founders chartered the financial institution in 1935 as Cheyenne VAF to serve the Veteran's Administration Hospital. In 1997, the credit union changed its name to First Cheyenne Federal Credit Union to reflect its larger role in the community.
