Lexcel Solutions Inc., which creates business virtualization software, recently launched its QuickStart System.
QuickStart enables host processors to create and integrate an environment for ATM/point-of-sale testing in minutes, according to the company.
The QuickStart System comes pre-formatted with test scripts to alleviate the manual process of error identification and regression testing through capabilities like automatic-transaction generation, audit capture and 24/7 scheduling. Speed to market is essential, and automating the testing process when processing systems are undergoing upgrades, maintenance and compliance changes is critical, company officials said.
"Even in the most stable business environments, successful testing and evaluation of ATM and POS systems represent a significant challenge," said Carl Kubitz, president and CEO of Lexcel, which is based in Scottsdale, Ariz.
