Global Axcess deploys ATMs in a convenience store chain

Global Axcess Corp. has signed a three-year contract to deploy 20 ATM cash dispensers in a convenience store chain based in the Southeastern region of the United States.

The Jacksonville, Fla.-based ISO will deploy one ATM each in the 20 stores, said a Global Axcess spokesperson. The spokesperson, however, declined to name the store chain.

The contract's total value is approximately $450,000, and Global Axcess expects the agreement to begin generating revenues in the fourth quarter. In addition, Global Axcess has the potential of adding additional ATMs to the contract at some later date.

The company operates 4,900 ATMs and other self-service kiosks in 43 states.
