Phoenix Managed Networks, LLC has signed a multi-year agreement with Cardtronics Inc. to provide mission-critical financial transaction transport services to Cardtronics and its customers.
Phoenix Managed Networks, formerly HBNet, will deliver ATM and kiosk transactions to Cardtronics data centers over Phoenix's PCI-certified and encrypted network, according to the agreement. Cardtronics' ATMs will have access to the Phoenix Network throughout the United States.
In addition, Phoenix Managed Networks will provide protocol and communications conversion services for legacy devices, bringing next-generation technology to Cardtronics' installed terminals and its ATM base.
Phoenix Managed Networks operates a fully encrypted payment network in North America and Europe, providing transaction communications services to financial institutions, payment acquirers, ISOs and merchants. It also has clients in Canada and the Caribbean.
Cardtronics, the world's largest ATM ISO, is based in Houston.
