FTSI hires manager for the Pacific Northwest

Financial Technology Solutions Inc. (FTSI), an independent ATM sales and services provider to community banks and credit unions, has named Terry Downey northwest region sales manager. Downey’s position signals the Monrovia, Calif.-based company’s move into the Pacific Northwest.
Downey will assist the region’s financial institutions with ATM, risk assessment and banking automation solutions.
“Terry’s extensive knowledge of the financial services industry and the Pacific Northwest is a tremendous building block for FTSI,” said Susan Napier, founder and CEO. “With iQ CU coming on board this month, he will continue to establish our ATM sales and services in Oregon and Washington.”
FTSI recently signed a multi-year contract to provide first- and second-line servicing to Vancouver, Wash.-based iQ Credit Union’s 28 Diebold ATMs. As part of the agreement, the credit union will turn over management of its ATM network to FTSI, which is an NCR authorized sales and services provider.
Downey has worked for more than 20 years in the industry, having been associated with Fiserv Summit, SER Solutions and Harland Financial Solutions.
