Global Axcess Corp. has renewed an agreement with an unnamed grocery chain in which it will install more ATMs for the merchant.
The Jacksonville, Fla., ISO will install 28 additional ATMs, adding to the initial deployment of 31 machines.
“In March of last year, this customer installed 31 ATMs using our turnkey program,” said George McQuain, Global Axcess CEO. “Based on the success of that program, we are now essentially doubling this installation, adding 28 new locations that were still under contract with a competitor when they awarded us the installations.” McQuain added Global Axcess has been successful in increasing the merchant’s foot traffic.
The company did not release the agreement’s details. Global Axcess operates more than 4,500 ATMs and self-service kiosks in 43 states.
