Greenland to pilot payday advances
OCEANSIDE, Calif. -- Greenland has installed an automated check-cashing machine in Santee, Calif. which will be the first beta site for its new payday advance application. The beta site, owned by Credit Solutions Corporation, will be operated on a joint venture basis with Greenland Corporation. The initial installation will include Greenland's standard financial functions and payday advance services will be added by April 1. "The (payday advance) technology was one year in the making and will enhance Greenland's revolutionary automated check-cashing ATM kiosk. Greenland will continue to develop new applications such as bill paying and wire transfer services through its technology development program to maintain its state-of-the-art status," said Louis Montulli, Greenland Corporation CEO.
