Access Cash wins plum contracts
Access Cash International, Inc. is welcoming the new millennium with several plum ATM deployment contracts. The Arden Hills, Minn.-based ISO will deploy 2,000 machines at Shell Oil Co. Convenience stores, including Texaco stores, in 2000. Access Cash will also install 1,100 ATMs at Kmart stores and 350 machines at stores owned by BP Amoco Corp. Access Cash is managing all aspects of the deployments, including transaction processing and cash management. The ISO also will help design in-store promotions, featuring on-screen advertising and couponing. About 800 machines are already up and running in Kmart stores, complete with screen ads for the discount chain's Martha Stewart product lines.
